TUESDAY 1st MARCH----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1630Hrs
What a lovely start to March! Plenty of sunshine, light winds & a maximum temperature of 10.2 degrees ( About 2 degrees above normal). There must have been a lot of gardening done over the last few days!!  S.E. England has been grim in comparison, with max temps of 4 in places.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A dry evening & night is expected, with broken cloud & some clear spells. The minimum air temperature is likely to be between +1 & -1.  There may be rather more cloud & breeze towards the end of the night.

OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY may start rather cloudy, but there should be some sunshine & it will stay dry. Maximum temperatures should reach about 9 degrees. There is some possibility of very slight rain at times overnight, but most of it will not carry across from the west. THURSDAY & FRIDAY still look dry, with some sunshine & temperatures close to or a little above normal.

THE FEBRUARY SUMMARY, WITH SOME COMMENTS ABOUT MARCH OVER THE YEARS, HAS BEEN POSTED & CAN BE FOUND BELOW.
