TUESDAY 22nd MARCH----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1630Hrs
The morning was rather cloudy, though the sky appeared more broken towards Perth, in contrast to the low cloud cover over Ben Vrackie. Around noon, a cold front passed over & though it was mostly rainless, there was one small patch that had Pitlochry's name on it. Thereafter, cloud broke up well, to give some sunshine & very mild temperatures (maximum 14.1 )

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some clear spells this evening, but perhaps rather more cloudy overnight. Not as mild as last night, with minimum air temperatures down to 4 degrees, with perhaps a touch of ground frost in prone spots.

OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY---After a rather cloudy start, there should be some cloud breaks later, with intervals of sunshine. Mild again, with highs of 13 or 14 degrees.
THURSDAY---Still mild with variable amounts of cloud & some sunny spells.
FRIDAY---Somewhat colder, with rather cloudy skies & perhaps some light rain.

LAST NIGHT'S MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 9.1 DEGREES, WAS HIGHER THAN THE AVERAGE MINIMUM TEMPERATURE IN JUNE (8.5).   IT IS NOT, HOWEVER, A MARCH RECORD (THAT WAS 9.9 IN THE YEAR 2000)
