THURSDAY 5th MARCH----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1630Hrs
We've had a dismal day, all the more so with it's coming after 5 days with plenty of sunshine. It just goes to show that high pressure(1036 at present) gives no guarantee of sunny conditions. Light drizzle has been fairly persistent, with the highest temperature of the day around 1 degree below average at 7.3 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
It will remain generally cloudy, with further occasional light drizzle, but some dry spells too. A few cloud breaks are just possible. No frost is expected, with lowest temperatures around 3 degrees.

OUTLOOK
The next few days will see a mixture of cloudy spells, but also some cloud breaks with sunny intervals. Much of the time should be dry, though there may be some drizzle at first on Saturday. Friday should be a little milder, thougjh the weekend is likely to see temperatures back down a little, with some risk of a slight overnight frost.
