There was a shower earlier, so conditions are still essentially unsettled, though so far, we are missing the worst of the rain, which is mostly confined to western districts.

There may be some rather cloudy spells this morning with a few showers & perhaps more in the way of sunny spells & more isolated showers this afternoon. Always more showers further to the west & more sunshine further to the east. Maximum temperature 16.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Mostly dry over the period, with some evening sunshine & some overnight clear spells. Minimum temperature 7 or 8 .

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY----A day of broken cloud, some sunny spells & just the chance of an isolated shower. Maximum temperature 16 or 17.     Rain spreading in during the evening.
