THURSDAY 1st SEPTEMBER

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A new month, but still the same old cloud sheet. However, it is thin & punctuated with little blue gaps.
BELOW IS A GRAPH OF AUGUST TEMPERATURE & LATER, THERE WILL BE A MONTHLY SUMMARY.
ABERFELDY WEATHER APPEARS TO HAVE GONE OFF THE MAP---NO IDEA WHY. NOTE THE CORRECT WEB ADDRESS FOR THIS BLOG ON THE HEADER PHOTOGRAPH.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
The cloud around at present, unlike yesterday, should tend to break at times, especially this afternoon,  to give some intervals of sunshine.  It will also be a couple of degrees up on yesterday, with maximum reaching around 17 degrees. Winds light.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Cloud will tend to increase as Atlantic fronts bring rain from the west by 0100Hrs. The night will then be rather wet for a few hours, but at least mild, though rather breezy.

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY---Any rain left over should soon clear & the day should then be mostly dry with broken cloud & sunny intervals.
WEEKEND---Morning rain on SATURDAY should clear to give a brighter, breezy & rather warm afternoon. SUNDAY should be rather warm, though breezy, but mostly dry before more rain from the west later in the day.
