SATURDAY 24th SEPTEMBER----EVENING

HEADLINES @ 1700Hrs
Quite a pleasant day, with well-broken cloud & some spells of sunshine. A pity there were a couple of nuisance- value showers mid/late afternoon when I was mowing the lawn! The highest temperature reached 17.1 which is good for late September, but the coast appears to have had more sunshine & higher temperatures.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Perhaps another light shower in the next hour or so, but otherwise dry with breaks in the cloud. Fairly mild overnight, with a low of about 8.

OUTLOOK
SUNDAY----The morning will be the best part of the day, with some sunshine around. During the afternoon, cloud will increase from the south west, with rain arriving by or before evening. It is then likely to be wet, with moderate or heavy rain, though becoming drier as the night goes on. Windy.
MONDAY----Any rain left over should soon give way to a mainly dry day, with broken cloud & sunny intervals. Still on the breezy side.
