The pictuesque village of Geiranger (pop. 300 ) lies at the foot of Mt. Dalsnibba (4920ft). Geiranger is the destination of numerous cruise ships, so is often unkindly referred to as a "cruise car park"but is probably the most picturesque &most photographed village in the whole of Norway.
