THURSDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER----EVENING

HEADLINES @ 1800Hrs
The showers stayed mainly in the west, but we were rather cloudy for much of the time. The top temperature was a below-normal 13.0.   Had a red squirrel on my bird table earlier this evening!

 THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Mainly dry & bright this evening, with only the slight chance of a light shower. Overnight, it is likely to become more cloudy, but only small amounts of rain are expected, most of it having fallen over the high ground to the west.  It will be a mild night & somewhat breezier later on.  Minimum temperature 9,

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY----Generally cloudy, but any rain is likely to be light & patchy. It will be breezy from the south, but a little milder than today. Highest temperature around 15.
SATURDAY----Perhaps an overhang of rain to start Saturday, but broken cloud & some sunny intervals later. SUNDAY looks reasonable at present.
