A warm front has brought a spell of rain during the night, but also introduced some very mild temperatures.


PITLOCHRY TODAY
 The morning will be mostly cloudy, with some further rain on occasions. It will, however, feel very mild, with temperatures already around 15 degrees. During the afternoon, there may be some brightness or even a little sunshine, but it will still be rather cloudy at times & the occasional shower can't be ruled out. In any sunshine, the temperature could rise as high as 19, which is well above the early September average.   So for the HIGHLAND GAMES, it's a case of perhaps a brolly needed, but not warm jumpers!    UPDATE @ 1315Hrs----Remaining mostly cloudy, with little prospect of sunshine. There is likely to be some patchy light rain on occasions, though not amounting to much. Feeling rather warm at around 17 or 18.

Mainly dry with a few sunny intervals, followed by some cloud breaks overnight. Staying mild.
