WEDNESDAY 28th SEPTEMBER

HEADLINES @ 0830Hrs
Yes---the professionals have been somewhat over-optimistic for our neck of the woods.   See details below.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A few parts of the wider region are already into sunshine, but as for Pitlochry, there's still a bit of waiting to do before we see the blue skies & sunshine. Already rather warm  out there, however, at close on 15.   Should reach 21 in afternoon sunshine.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry, some sunshine & a very mild night, staying well into double figures.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY----Disappointing, with more cloud from a front & even a little rain possible during the afternoon. Still feeling rather warm & muggy.
FRIDAY----Hopefully, warm with some sunny spells
SATURDAY----Going downhill with a spell of rain
SUNDAY----Cooler & generally returning to a more unsettled regime in the week ahead.
So its a pretty quick "Hello & Goodbye" to a late taste of summer!
