THURSDAY 15th SEPTEMBER

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
It was nippy last night, down to zero on the grass. A ridge of high pressure covers the British Isles, but it doesn't intend to stay!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
It will be a dry day, with broken cloud & spells of sunshine. The afternoon may see rather more in the way of cloud, though still bright with sunny intervals. Winds will be light & highest temperatures will reach 15 or 16 degrees---near normal.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
There will be sunny intervals during the evening & some clear intervals overnight, though perhaps rather more in the way of cloud later. Lowest temperature around 7.

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY---It will be mainly cloudy throughout. The morning should stay mainly dry, but during the afternoon & evening, some occasional & mainly light rain will spread from the west.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY---Rather unsettled with some showers or longer spells of rain, with a centre of low pressure close at hand.
