HEADLINES @ 1700Hrs
Pretty miserable for most of the day, with drizzle, mist & murk & the lying snow thawing painfully slowly. Today's highest temperature in Pitlochry was only 3, while at Perth Airport it was 8.1 recently & in Glasgow 12.
2or 3 flocks of very noisy geese were flying west just as I was checking today's highest temperature.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A cloudy evening, though at present, it's not as misty & murky as during daylight hours. There are likely to be some spells of light rain & drizzle overnight, as SW winds freshen & temperatures struggle higher---at last!

THURSDAY
Mild & breezy, with probably the month's highest temperature to date (close to double figures). The morning is likely to see some light rain or drizzle, but the afternoon could be somewhat drier, with some brightness (another one of those days with more rain to the west & drier & brighter further east.
