HEADLINES @ 1615Hrs
A surprisingly good day, with plenty of cloud-free sky, particularly this morning. Just a little more cloud in the afternoon & I even felt a slight shower at 1340Hrs. Ben Vrackie looked impressive dressed in white; a fair amount of snow must have fallen up there during the rain we had down here yesterday. Today's top temperature was 5.1.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
An outside chance of a sleet shower, but dry by and large, with clear spells.  Minimum temperature around -1 or -2.

THURSDAY
A cold start, with a widespread slight frost, but probably blue skies & some sunshine. Winds should be lighter than today. There may well be more cloud as the afternoon wears on, with perhaps a few sleet showers. Maximum temperature around 3.
