HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
There are some icy stretches out there on any untreated surfaces, resulting from recent showers falling onto frozen ground. There are even a few snowflakes on my lawn from a slight shower in the recent past.  Watch out for windy weather tomorrow!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
There are one or two wintry showers around, especially just to the north west of the town. That apart, much of the day should be dry & bright, especially towards Perth & Dundee. Winds will be light or moderate from the SW & maximum temperatures should reach about 3.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The evening will turn wet for a while, as a new depression moves in from the Atlantic. This rain will turn more showery later, with some dry spells & perhaps the odd shower, which could contain some sleet or wet snow. Lowest temperatures hovering within a degree of 0.

TUESDAY
A very windy day is expected, in association with a deep depression passing close by the NW of Scotland. There are likely to be some squally showers around & perhaps even some more prolonged ones. Sleet is quite likely & areas above about 200ms are vulnerable to some snowfall. It will be a cold day, with temperatures pegged back at about 2.
