HEADLINES @ 0930Hrs
Feeling quite nippy, with a force 3 W. wind, though temperature above freezing. The lying snow has a very different "texture" to it this morning. Looks as though there is milder weather on the way for tomorrow & probably no white Christmas, save for the mountains.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A bright start, though with some icy patches on untreated surfaces.  Rather more cloud about as the afternoon goes on, but staying dry until later in the evening. Remaining cold, with only a very slow thaw. Maximum temperatures around 3or4
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Cloudy, though a slight frost likely early on. Later, clouds will thicken to give a little sleet or snow for a time, but this will be replaced by milder, damper conditions, with some rain or drizzle overnight. Lowest temperatures during the evening, around -1.

WEDNESDAY
Starting cloudy with some rain or drizzle, but feeling somewhat milder. It will be breezier from the S.W. There should be some dry weather during the afternoon. Maximum temperatures should reach 4 or 5 degrees, with a quicker thaw of lying snow than will be the case today.
