WATCH OUT FOR SLIPPY SURFACES THIS MORNING!   Much of the active weather today & tonight is destined for the south of England (for a change!)  Much less in the way of wind in our area, but nonetheless, feeling cold

Perhaps the odd shower at first, but generally a dry day ahead, with broken cloud & some sunshine at times. Winds will be light, but it will feel cold with maximum held at about 2 or 3.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A mainly clear & frosty evening. A chance of more cloud & some outbreaks of sleet later in the night. MInimum -3

FRIDAY
Starting rather cloudy, with some sleet or wet snow possible, but improving later with some dry spells with broken cloud. Feeling cold, with a maximum of only 1.
