HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
For those readers out of the local area, just to say that we have had a power blackout for 33 hrs!! Normal service resumed at 2230 last night. It's remaining cold;  in fact the coldest air temperature of the month to date,  is occurring right now (-3).   Still a mobile westerly set- up,with a few more deep lows to pass in the days ahead.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Frosty at first & a cold day ahead, with maximum only about 1. On the positive side, winds will be light & cloud should generally be well-broken allowing some bright or sunny spells. Just  a low risk of an isolated wintry shower.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A spell of rain or sleet seems likely this evening, but this will die out by midnight, with only well- scattered wintry showers possible. Clear spells in the 2nd half of the night will allow a slight frost to develop.

SUNDAY
A frosty start, but a mainly dry day, with broken cloud & bright or sunny intervals. Still feeling cold with more of a SW wind as the day goes on. Maximum about 2.
