HEADLINES @ 1130Hrs
The sort of sparkling winter's morning that is popular with many of us, cold, but with light winds & a light, powdery snow covering. Last night's ground minimum temperature was 7 degrees lower than the air minimum, due to calm, clear conditions, together with fresh, powdery snow.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Temperatures struggling to make zero, but at least the W to NW breeze will be light. Basically dry, with sunny spells, but some chance of one or two light snow flurries this afternoon.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Starting clear & frosty, with temperatures taking a plunge. However, there is a change on the way & this will start to make its presence felt with an increase in cloud later on in the night. There may even be a little sleet or wet snow.

MONDAY
A cloudy day, with some wet snow or sleet to start the day. Later on, this will turn to rain.

NEXT REPORT TOMORROW MORNING
