HEADLINES @ 1745Hrs
Rain ceased around 1000H & though it remained mainly cloudy, there was some brightness. This afternoon, however, was dominated by a grey sheet of cloud, but it remained dry. Temperatures only reached 10.1    A large area of high pressure covers the North Sea, but it will be pulling away further east as the weekend approaches.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
It will continue cloudy, but dry for much of the time. A little patchy slight rain or drizzle is just possible. Winds will be light, barometers should be reading around 1022mbs & minimum temperatures will be higher than last night at around 6 degrees.

THURSDAY
Dry for the most part, with partly cloudy skies. There may well be some thinning & breaking of the cloud at times giving some bright or sunny intervals. It should be a little less cold than today, with temperatures reaching 13.
