HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Looking much more promising today than for some time, but Monday's weather looks very disturbed & the week ahead promises colder weather.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Broken cloud & some sunshine, though an odd passing shower is just possible. It will feel fresher than recently, with more breeze & temperatures down a touch. Maximum around 13.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
After a dry start, with some clear spells, some rain will spread from the west. It will become windy & some of the rain may br heavy at times. Lowest temperature about 7.

MONDAY
It may start dry & bright, but it is expected to become a very unsettled day with rain spreading from the west, heavy at times. Some of the higher ground may well see some snowfall, especially the Cairngorms & Eastern Grampians. Those proposing hill or mountain walks should click the Met Office Link above & locate mountain weather.  It is likely to be windy with maximum temperatures in Pitlochry struggling to reach double figures.  3 ground frosts are lined up in the coming week.
