HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Snow cover on Ben Vrackie this morning. There were quite a few showers around the 0600-0730 period, adding to the rainfall total attributed to yesterday. Snow showers have been widespread over the highest ground to both north & west.  The best of today's dry & sunny weather will be to the east & south east. More cloudy & showery weather is expected, especially over the mountainous areas further west.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A cold, windy day, with a mixture of broken cloud & sunny intervals, punctuated with a few showers. During the early morning period, the showers have been frequent & heavy, but should become more scattered through the day, allowing for some dry bright spells. Winds will be fresh from the NW & highest temperatures will struggle to double figures.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Still the odd shower possible, but also some clear spells, with a touch of frost on the cards. Minimum 0.

WEDNESDAY
Remaining cold & breezy. Some broken skies with sunshine, but always the chance of the odd shower getting through from the west.  Maximum temperature around 8.
