At last, we saw some sunshine today, but at present, skies look somewhat threatening & the rainfall radar is showing a shower close by.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
The odd shower around at first & later in the evening & overnight, some more general rain will spread from the west. Becoming windy, with overnight minimum temperature down to around 6.

MONDAY
A rather cold & very unsettled day, with any early brightness quickly disappearing. There is likely to be some heavy rainfall at times. The maximum temperature will be pegged at single figures.  On higher ground, the rain is likely to turn to snow at times, making it hazardous for hill & mountain walkers( click on Met Office link above).
