HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A wet start, but that shouldn't last long.  Having said that, it would appear that a few parts of Britain may get as much as 100mms of rain today (Cornwall, Pembroke & parts of N. Ireland ).  We are set to land a fair amount of rain ourselves tomorrow.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Some early rain, then becoming dry, with some cloud breaks, though still often rather cloudy. Breezy, but temperatures above normal at around 14.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry for most of the period, but another band of rain spreading into the area from the south late in the night. Remaining breezy, but the night will be very mild for the time of year.

TUESDAT
An unsettled day, with some rather heavy & persistent rain likely. Maximum temperature down a bit on today's at 11 or 12.
