HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A lot of rain in the west today. Very little rain close to the East Coast. A set- up that tells us winds are in the west & frontal systems are near at hand.  Don't get carried away by the odd patch of blue sky at present!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Mainly cloudy throughout. There will be rain from time to time, though most of it will be light & patchy. There may be some dry spells too. It will be mild & breezy, with highest temperatures close to 12.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Mild & breezy, with perhaps an occasional patch of light rain or drizzle. Lowest temperature close to a very mild 10.

WEEKEND
The emphasis on unsettled conditions.  On the positive side, it will be mild, but it will often be cloudy, with rain never too far away. Winds will generally be on the brisk side, from between S & SW.
