HEADLINES @ 1830Hrs
Rather cloudy, with a few nuisance-value showers this morning. This afternoon saw cloud thinning, lifting & breaking to give some pleasant sunny intervals. There was a rewarding vista at Queen's View this afternoon, with very good visibility & the trees looked beautiful in their Autumn colourings. Today's highest temperature was 11.2

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Just the chance of a light evening shower, but that apart, it should be dry throughout, with some clear spells. It is likely to be quite chilly by dawn, with air temperatures down to about 3 or 4 with local ground frost & mist bands in the valley bottoms & slopes.

FRIDAY
Dry & bright with some sunshine, though starting cold. Highest temperature around 11.
