FRIDAY 21st OCTOBER----EVENING

HEADLINES @ 1700Hrs
On the positive side, it has been a very mild day for the time of year, maximum temperature 13.3.  However, the morning, especially, was overcast with persistent light rain & drizzle. Some improvement has been in evidence this afternnon. The rainfall total 0900h to 1700H was 1.8mms. (It does not take a lot of rain to make a day miserable! )

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Skies remaining cloudy. There is expected to be another spell of light rain or drizzle during this evening, though probably very little overnight.  Staying mild, with lows of around 10.

WEEKEND
Saturday is likely to stay mainly cloudy & at times overcast. There are likely to be some spells of rain & drizzle, mostly light, but there may also be some drier periods too. It will again be mild.
Sunday should start dry, but rain will spread from the south later. Becoming windy.
