HEADLINES @0830 Hrs
A rather cold start, following a ground frost. However, this site has not yet had an air frost in October & prospects now of getting one are virtually nil.  Looking good for today, so make the best of it, as weekend prospects point to unsettled conditions with rain never too far away (& often right on the doorstep ).  Check the RAIN TODAY link.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A dry day in prospect, with broken cloud & sunshine at times. Probably more high cloud around by evening, as well as some increase in the SW breeze. Maximum temperature 11.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Cloud increasing, with rain setting in later in the evening & persisting for much of the night, keeping temperatures up at about 9.

WEEKEND
SATURDAY---Cloudy & mild with rain at times. Temperatures up to 13.   SUNDAY---After a dry start, further rain seems likely to spread in later. Remaining mild & breezy.  Always more rain further west.
