FRIDAY 14th OCTOBER----EVENING

UPDATE @ 1745Hrs
It's been a sunless day, though amounts of rain were minute.  The maximum temperature rose to a mild 14.7.
Lossiemouth was reported to have reached 19 degrees earlier today; it benefits from southerly winds descending off the Cairngorms.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Some occasional, mainly light rain during the early evening. Further rain is likely later in the night, as a warm front moves through. Staying very mild, with temperatures staying in double figures.

WEEKEND
Sunday the better day, with some dry bright weather, though not as mild as today. Saturday looks like being mostly cloudy, with some rain on occasions, more so during the afternoon. There should be some dry spells during the morning.
  For the best of what's going on Saturday, head east. There will be more rain further to the west.
