WEDNESDAY 24th----EVENING

HEADLINES @1715 Hrs
A better day, with some dry weather soon developing, a few intervals of sunshine & temperatures up 2 degrees on yesterdays. As the afternoon went on, some pretty beefy showers began moving from south to north over the region, but rainfall radar showed that the worst affected area was further west. Coming home up the A9, showers were encountered around & a little further north of Dunkeld (around 1630). Pitlochry appears to have missed the worse--at least so far.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Still a chance of a sharp shower in the next hour or two, but later becoming dry with some clear spells overnight. Minimum temperature 7 degrees, with perhaps valley mist patches.

OUTLOOK
THURSDAY----The morning will be the best part of the day, when it should be dry with some sunshine. By afternoon, big shower cloud will have bubbled up, with some spots catching some heavy showers. Other may be lucky & miss the worst. Highest temperatures around 16 or 17 degrees.
FRIDAY----Similar, with some heavy showers around during the afternoon   Check raintoday.co.uk
