Today's highest temperature reached 16.5 & 5.8 mms rain fell, much of this in the heavy downpour just after 12 noon.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Perhaps the odd shower still to come this evening, though there is nothing in the local area just at present. Much of the overnight period should be dry. Minimum temperature around 9 degrees.
OUTLOOK
THE WEEKEND----SATURDAY should perhaps be better than originally feared, with the rain staying well to the east. There should be some sunshine & a few showers around, but it will become breezy & remain rather cool.
SUNDAY should see some sunny spells, with just the odd shower, but it will be breezy & rather cool.
