MONDAY 15th AUGUST

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
There was a good deal of mist in the valley earlier on, following the coolest night so far this month (the ground minimum was close to frost levels ).At present, cumulus cloud is building, with some whispy high cirrus above. Not a bad day ahead!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Much of today should be dry, though there is a slim shower risk ( the forecast radar is suggesting a light shower around 1020 ! ). There will be spells of sunshine, with temperatures climbing to around 18 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
It should be a dry evening, but later & overnight, cloud will increase, perhaps with a little rain. Not as cold as last night.

OUTLOOK
TUESDAY---Mainly cloudy for  much of the time with some patchy light rain, but only very small accumulations, but there may well be a spell of heavier rain later in the day for 2 or 3  hours. Maximum temperature down a couple of degrees on today.
WEDNESDAY----A good deal of dry weather, with some spells of sunshine.
