FRIDAY 19th AUGUST

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Yesterday evening's heavy rain was brought by a slow-moving & expanding shower. We are o.k. now, until weak fronts bring us a little rain by late evening.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
The cloud around at present should soon break up & the rest of the morning should see some spells of sunshine. It will stay dry & bright during the afternoon, but cloud will gradually encroach from the SW, at high & medium levels, ahead of an approaching front.Maximum temperatures should reach 18 or 19 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A little light rain is possible for a time before clearing away. The rest of the night should be mild & rather breezy, with lowest temperatures in double figures.

OUTLOOK
SATURDAY----Should see a good deal of dry weather, though the odd light shower can't be entirely ruled out.Sunny spells are expected, though there will be a fresh breeze. Highest temperature close to 19 degrees.
SUNDAY----Probably more cloud, less sunshine & a greater likelihood of showers around. Pleasantly warm in the sunny intervals at about 18 or 19 degrees.
