SATURDAY 27th AUGUST----EVENING

HEADLINES @ 1715Hrs
This morning was mainly cloudy, with only a hint of very hazy sunshine. A light shower mid-afternoon, was the only rain of the day, as we were on the eastern edge of a significant shower. Some places to the west must have received quite a soaking & one or two of these showers have continued on into Fife. We are now into some spells of sunshine & all in all, we have fared rather well today. No great shakes on temperature, however, with a max of just 16.0.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Further sunny intervals & probably dry now. With clear spells at first tonight, it may become rather chilly (down to 7 degrees ). Later in the night, cloud is likely to spread down from the north, bringing a little light & patchy rain

OUTLOOK
SUNDAY----A rather cloudy, breezy & cool day is expected, with temperatures pegged at about 14.   Pitlochry (& areas further north  too ) may have a little light rain on occasions, but further west & south, there should be brighter skies & less chance of rain.
MONDAY----Some sunshine, with broken cloud & perhaps an odd shower about. Less breeze & a touch warmer.
