TUESDAY 23rd AUGUST

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Probably a shortage of sunshine again today, with no exciting temperatures. However, at least we have only had 1.6mms of rain since Friday morning!   Be thankful for small mercies!!

PITLOCHRY TODAY
A generally rather cloudy day is expected, with just a few sunny intervals. It should be dry a.m. but this afternoon, the risk of a few showers increases. Temperatures again (for the 14th time this month ) are likely to be rather below the long-term average.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Any showers still about during the evening , should die out, leaving a dry night with some cloud breaks. Lowest temperature around 10 degrees.

OUTLOOK
WEDNESDAY----The day should start dry, but fronts moving in from the W. are likely to introduce more cloud & some showery outbreaks of rain as the afternoon goes on. Max. temp. around 17.
THURSDAY----Broken cloud with some sunshine , but with a risk of showers afternoon & early evening.
