A dry, but cloudy start to the day & there was some valley mist earlier. There are a number of showers to the N.E. moving away. More are expected to develop later. Check on raintoday.co.uk for the latest situation. Yesterday, we largely escaped showers, which made for a welcome change. The weekend weather isn't looking too bad---we deserve nothing less!!

A rather cloudy day, with showers around, especially this afternoon, when one or two may be heavy. Highest temperature around 16 degrees.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Perhaps a shower or two to start the evening, but it should later become dry with some cloud breaks. With some clear skies & light winds, it is likely to turn out a cool night, down to about 7 degrees. Perhaps some valley mist around.
OUTLOOK
FRIDAY---should be dry, with broken cloud & some sunny spells. Highest temperature up to 19 degrees. There is expected to be an increase in cloud during the evening & some rain overnight.
SATURDAY---Mostly dry, with just a chance of a shower. Some good cloud breaks with spells of sunshine. Temperatures up to 19.
SUNDAY----Mostly dry, the odd shower around. Further sunny spells & a touch warmer.
