FRIDAY 19th AUGUST----EVENING

HEADLINES @1630 Hrs
It's been a dry day so far, which is a blessing, but the maximum temperature has only reached a disappointing 16.0 degrees. Yesterday p.m. a weather colleague who records west of Aberfeldy, ended up measuring more than 3 times the amount I recorded in Pitlochry. I mentioned yesterday evening, that we had just missed a heavy shower passing to our west, before the evening downpour set in.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
There is a little bit of rain to pass through this evening, but dry conditions, with broken cloud should then return. It should be a fairly mild night, with a SW breeze.

OUTLOOK
SATURDAY----A mainly dry, bright, breezy day, with some spells of sunshine appears on offer, but as so often this month, it has to be said that an odd shower is still possible. Temperatures should reach 18 or 19 degrees, so nice in the sunshine.
SUNDAY----Rather more cloud seems likely on Sunday & there is an increased risk of showers. It will also be breezy. There should still be plenty of dry weather, however, with some intervals of sunshine.
