SATURDAY 6th AUGUST----EVENING

HEADLINES @ 1730Hrs
Following quite a pleasant morning, the afternoon saw more cloud, with a few spots of rain. Highest temperatures only made 17.2 degrees. There is currently an extensive area of heavy rain to the S.E. It is moving our way, but indications are that the heavier falls of rain will occur east of a line from Dundee to Edinburgh

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Remaining cloudy throughout the period, with rain becoming more significant later. Lowest temperatures in double figures.

OUTLOOK
SUNDAY----Will be a cool, cloudy day with spells of rain, especially during the morning. There may be some drier intervals later in the day.

MONDAY----Cool & breezy, though mainly dry with just the chance of an odd shower.
