FRIDAY 5th AUGUST

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Lerwick reached 18 yesterday (a touch warmer than Pitlochry! ). Mild again this morning, after yet another very mild night, with prospects looking good for a pleasant day.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Apart from an outside chance of a shower, the day should be dry, with broken cloud & spells of sunshine. It should feel a little fresher than of late, with W to NW winds. Highest temperature reaching around 19 degrees (close to normal )

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry with some evening sunskine & clear spells overnight. Lower minimum temperature than on recent nights.

OUTLOOK
SATURDAY---Probably dry with some sunny spells a.m.  The afternoon is likely to be more cloudy, with a risk of showers.Some more prolonged & heavier rain threatens for the evening & night.
SUNDAY----Rather cloudy with some showers or even some longer spells of rain & cooler.
