The rain has proved somewhat relentless, though there has only been 4.5mms since 0900Hrs. Places further north & east appear to have fared worse. Along with overcast skies, it has also been very cool for early August, just 13.2 degrees.

 THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Cloudy with further rain at times, though this becoming lighter & more occasional with time. There should be some dry spells as the night goes on. Minimum temperature 10 degrees.

OUTLOOK
MONDAY----A drier day, though rather cloudy at times. Temperatures should be a couple of degrees up on today's.
                      Perhaps a few sunny intervals. Rather breezy from the N.W.

TUESDAY----Mainly dry with some sunshine & less windy.
