MONDAY 8th AUGUST

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
 Quite an autumnal feel to the weather this morning, but at least the strong breeze is helping things dry out after yesterday!  Some places further N & E ended up with over 60mms & it's still raining.

Mainly dry today, with some sunny intervals, but also more cloudy periods. Quite a fresh breeze from between N & W  Maximum temperatures around 16 degrees (below early August average )

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry, with some evening sunshine & some clear spells overnight. Still breezy from the NW. Lowest temperatures around 8 degrees.

OUTLOOK
TUESDAY---Still a NW breeze & rather cool. Broken cloud & some spells of sunshine.
WEDNESDAY---Some rain spreading from the west.
