A cooler, fresher night & a cooler start to the morning. It is 4.5 degrees down on this time yesterday.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Some high-level cloud & brightness for the morning, which is likely to be the best part of the day. The afternoon is expected to become more cloudy, with an increasing risk of showers. Highest temperatures around 17 or 18 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Remaining cloudy & we are under threat from an area of heavy rain extending to our area from the S.E. during the evening. It should be milder than the night just gone, with minimum temperature in double figures.
