Cloudy with moderate rain. A high rainfall total from last evening & overnight ( 29.9mms --equivalent to 40% of an average whole of August fall )

A cool, overcast day with spells of rain. The rain is likely to be heavier & more persistent this morning & during the afternoon, is likely to become intermittent & lighter, though not fully dying out until after dark. Temperatures reaching a miserable 15 at best.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Further rain, though this fairly light & occasional. Winds will become quite strong from between N & NW.

OUTLOOK
MONDAY---- Much drier, with some sunshine developing, but cool & breezy.

TUESDAY----Mainly dry with some sunshine, but temperatures still below normal with a NW breeze.
