THURSDAY 25th AUGUST

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A rather cool start to the day, with grey skies, in a month that just doesn't seem to improve.

PITLOCHRY TODAY
Early morning low cloud should break, to give some sunshine for a while.By this afternoon, cloud will have started to bubble up & showers, some heavy, will start to break out. Some spots will receive a deluge, others may escape with very little rain.  Check  raintoday.co.uk  to monitor how things are shaping up. Highest temperatures around 16 or 17 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Any showers still around should die away. The night should see some clear spells & be rather chilly, with valley mist patches. Minimum temperature about 5 or 6.

OUTLOOK
FRIDAY----A dry, cool but sunny start. Cloud will bubble up to give a few afternoon showers. Temperatures should rise to 17 or 18 degrees.
