UPDATE @ 1700Hrs----It's been a cold, cloudy day, with a little snow for a short time this afternoon. The highest temperature was a mere +0.5 degrees (lower than expected), with a current temperature of +0.1.
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT----There remains a small chance of an isolated snow shower moving across from the NW, but the evening & night should be mainly dry, with clear spells & a sharp frost developing, minimum temperature in the range -3 to -5. There will be icy roads & pavements in the morning.
OUTLOOK----A wintry spell ahead, with cold days, frosty nights & also the chance of the odd snow shower & even a longer spell of snow(most likely on Saturday).
