THURSDAY EVENING 6th JANUARY

UPDATE @ 1700Hrs----Much less in the way of cloud & much more sunshine than for some time, but the air originated from the arctic, so temperatures still low (Today's maximum +1.8). Temperatures are taking more of a dive this evening, with the current reading at -2.0.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT----Dry, clear & frosty, with minimum temperatures around -6 to -8

OUTLOOK----A few dry, fine, cold days ahead, but Saturday is likely to be much more cloudy, with a likelihood of some snow, though at present, it would appear that SE. Scotland is rather more vulnerable. Certainly worth keeping an eye on http://www.raintoday.co.uk/
