HEADLINES  ON  SUNDAY 2nd JANUARY @ 0900Hrs----After a cloudier night than expected, Pitlochry has escaped frost (even Leuchars failed to achieve that).   The minimum temperature was +0.1 & the current temperature was +1.0. 
PITLOCHRY TODAY----A dry day ahead (perhaps an odd snow grain). Cloud will generally be broken, with some sunny intervals. It will be cold, with temperatures not getting above 2 or 3 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT----Dry, with clear spells & a frost developing (Min. temp. around -3 to -5 ). Probably becoming more cloudy later in the night.

OUTLOOK---MONDAY an unsettled day with some rain. perhaps some sleet, especially on the higher ground.
