FRIDAY 28th JANUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
Not as cold overnight as expected (cloud acting as a blanket ), but a frost nonetheless(-6 on the grass , which is rock hard.) Air min, was -2.2 & a cluster of Scottish stations were down to -4 or -5.  A 7/8ths cloud cover this morning (stratocumulus @ about 3000 ft.)

PILOCHRY TODAY
Another dry day ahead, but it is likely to be more cloudy than yesterday, though, hopefully, there should be a few brighter interludes with a little sunshine.Still feeling cold, with best temperatures around 4 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
A few clear intervals in the first half of the period, is likely to lead to a slight frost. Later on, there is likely to be an increase of cloud, followed by a little rain, associated with the passage of a cold front from the N.W. Minimum temperature around -1 or-2.
OUTLOOK
A little rain possible at first on Saturday, but improving later. Dry with some brightness on Sunday & Monday Staying on the cold side.
