After quite a wet night, the ice around my house is still intact & the temperature is only1. There was even a frost in the late evening(-1.2). Things just don't seem to be getting much milder, despite what we're being told on the BBC weather forecasts!!
PILOCHRY TODAY
The overnight rain will continue at times until late morning. The remainder of the day is likely to remain rather cloudy, with temperatures still struggling somewhat, with highest values around 3 or 4 degrees.(I just can't see these 6 to 8 predictions being realized)
THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Mostly cloudy. Dry at first, but some further rain overnight. temperatures should remain a degree or two above freezing.
OUTLOOK
Generally unsettled, with further rain at times & also some windy periods. Temperatures higher than of late.
