SUNDAY 16th JANUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
After 29.4mms of rain in the past 24Hrs + frozen ground leading to rapid run-off, the River Tummel is in spate. The foot bridge is taped off for safety reasons. There is still ice around on some minor roads & paths.Overnight, temperatures nudged slightly higher to 7.2, before dropping back earlier this morning to 4.0.

PILOCHRY TODAY
Much of the day should remain dry, with some occasional sunshine. Just a chance of an odd passing shower. Temperatures should reach 7 or 8 degrees.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Much of the evening & first part of the night should stay dry. Perhaps more cloud & a shower or two later in the night. Temperatures, at lowest, should hold around 0 to +2

OUTLOOK
 High pressure building to give mostly dry weather, but becoming rather cold, with some night frosts.
