FRIDAY 14th JANUARY

HEADLINES @ 0900Hrs
A misty, murky start to the day, following overnight rain.Still some ice around.Temperatures actually rose to 4.5 overnight.

PILOCHRY TODAY
Mainly cloudy & misty for a time, with a light shower just possible. Becoming mainly dry later & somewhat brighter, though still rather cloudy.Temperatures should reach more respectable levels, with a high of around 6 or 7.

THIS EVENING & TONIGHT
Dry with a few clear spells during the evening & first part of the night. Temperatures will fall to their lowest then, perhaps to frost levels. A big change later in the night as wet & windy conditions spread from the west & last into the morning.

OUTLOOK
Saturday is likely to see an acceleration of the thaw, with mild, windy & at times wet weather.   Sunday should be drier & brighter..
